Role Description
8lete is seeking passionate Football Match Scorers to attend live football matches and capture real-time scores and key game events using the 8lete Official App. This role is essential for accurately documenting game data that helps promote and analyse grassroots football talent. Successful candidates will have a solid understanding of football scoring, an eye for detail, and an eagerness to learn console-based scoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend assigned football matches and record real-time scores and crucial game events through the 8lete Official App.
- Capture key match moments, including goals, assists, fouls, yellow/red cards, and substitutions with precise timing.
- Monitor the game flow to ensure no significant events are missed and troubleshoot any issues with the console as needed.
- Securely upload the recorded data to the 8lete platform immediately after the match.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of football rules, scoring, and terminology.
- Familiarity with app-based or console data entry (training on 8lete’s console and app will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and the ability to maintain concentration during live matches.
- Willingness to travel to match locations and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sports scorekeeping, especially football, is highly valued.
- Passion for football and a desire to support grassroots athletes.
